Re: Request operating statistic be made a condition of the planning consent.
As is likely, when the planning permission is passed request that free access to the operating statistics is made a condition of the planning consent.
The biggest problem is mis-leading figures from these companies and a total lack of access to reliable information. It would be very simple (and very cheap) for the generation telemetry to be published on a simple live web page. Can the planners insist on this as part of the panning permission?
In an ideal world, the local authority should be able to fine the companies for mis-selling thier installation - it would at least ensure that planning permissions were granted on accurate and achievabe generation figures.

SC - you raise an interesting point but I fear it will have little impact. You can be sure if the telemetry from industrial wind farms was worth reading it would be published and already in the public domain, it would show that these turbines are not actually ineffectual at best and there would be clear evidence of a successful technology that contributes to our energy needs - there isn't because they're not!. For example the Ecotricity website constantly (and oh so cooly of course by Mr. Dale (Che) Vince) telling us how great wind energy is and how it WILL save the Earth has a link to output stats. But guess what, they just say COMING SOON and this has been the case, well frankly, forever.
I agree with your sentiment however and ELDC should pressure Enertrag (in our case) to provide some form of EVIDENCE of commitment and return rather than their policy of a STEALTH (or I believe MICKEY MOUSE) approach. So far Enetrtrag has not given any data to the public other than the laughable BILLED public consultation joke they hosted (a little like a bad school project by 13 year olds). so don't hold your breath.
My final point is clear and simple; I don't want stats to be a condition of planning because in my opinion (and that of growing numbers) this application (when it goes in) has no merit. Enertrag would just make the figures up anyway.
Regards
Keep up the pressure.
