Roadside Signs

I can't help but notice the delightful signs your movement has erected in the vicinity of the establishment of Baumber. I must congratulate the organisation, as there is little in life I enjoy more than reading well-thought-out signs. 'No Wind-Farms'. Genius.

Some of the signs, however, are a little unorthadox, as I am sure I read a sign stating: 'Motorbike for sale'. I fail to see the connection, but I realise that, of course, all motorists will pay full attention to the signs they may see whilst driving. This, I believe, is a point supported by another set of signs I have seen:

'Vote Labour'

'Vote Tory'

'Vote BNP'

'Keep off the grass'

All of these, naturally, persuaded be completely to their cause, as I'm sure your signs have to everyone that read yours.

Yours faithfully,

A. Dullard.

Re: Roadside Signs

Hold up...some temporary signs are getting flack for being an eye sore, when the entire thing they're protesting is 130 metre high wind turbines?! At least the signs are static, temporary (as opposed to a lengthy construction process as 25 year lifespan) and about 3 feet high.

If you want some 'sarcasm' to play with, hows about this:-

"These wind turbines won't change the view you're complaining about at all".

Pithy or just taking the pith...the choice is yours!
