Re: Mast failure
We strongly refute any suggestion that any member wether closely or loosley connected to BWAG had anything to do with the mast falling down, if any accusation is leveled at the group we will take legal action for defamation .
The wind was very strong and vortexing at that time its up to the police to produce convincing evidence.

& while we are on the subject of the mast, BWAG welcomes its reinstatement ,so that the vialbility of the site which (enertrag have stated is marginal).... as well, and if the ROC subsidies where removed, the site would probably only break even.... (Quote from Enertrag at their baumber visit).... could be established & verified.
I would add, if in the event we were ever presented, with any information leading to the conviction of a person or persons responsible for vandalising the mast ,we would not hesitate to pass this to the police and then insist Enertrag publicly forwarded the £5,000 reward to BWAG ,which we would happily use to fund our campaign to halt this inappropriate development.
I hope this deals with this subject unequivocally once and for all.

How is this Inappropriate? I have yet to see one valid argument against the building of this Wind Farm! The only with any substantial reason is the 'ruining of the view'. So if you don't like it, tough, move away, or just stick with it. 75% of people would live near a Wind Farm! So, you're even outnumbered on that count too!
P.S. There's a £5000 reward for the one to knocked it down?
