second "blimp day" proves

Blimp Day 2

our second "awareness day" has been supported by even more people than last time. bwag is delighted with the numbers of people that visited the "blimp" site on july 11th and would like to thank everyone for their support. bwag was boosted further by visits from roger helmer (MEP for the east midlands), edward leigh (mp for Minting) and representitives of lincolnshire cpre, lincolnshire footpaths and the british horse society.

support was also shown by the multitudes of people from the local area plus visitors passing through what they described as "a much prized area of beautiful unspoilt countryside". These included members of the morgan owners club on a "wolds weekend" rally - celerating 100 years of the morgan motor car. members were appalled to learn of the plans to industrialise the area and signed the bwag petition.

bwag is now PRESENTING TO PARISHESIN THE ONGOING public consultaion period following the submission of the formal planning application by enertrag uk. strong support for bwag is now pledged by our patron sir peter tapsell (mp), edward leigh (mp), roger helmer (mep), cpre, bristish horse society and lincolnshire footpaths. this together with growing opposition from local people and land owners alike we will be fighting hard to prevent the selling-off of our environment to industry.
